What physical changes in your body are you struggling to accept?

Come hangout (virtually) with other mindful parents next week Saturday, September 23rd 2023, as we chat about specific aspects of our journey. You can bring your partner to this one. The event is free, but registration is mandatory. You can register here.

A few things to reflect on

Rather than your emotions being triggered to beat, try to understand why they do the things they do. Put yourself in their shoes sometimes and follow stage by stage. Be your kid best friend, instead of their master. Be ready to tolerate their miscalculations at times as part of their growth. Ensure your kid obey you out of respect, and not because of fear. Most importantly, the wisdom for every journey, even motherhood, is in the word of God. Trust God to help you at every phase

Postpartum for me was extremely different for both of my kids. The first time was overwhelming, while the second time was still a lot, but I had some experience. For example, I knew when I needed to rest and how to take the rest. I knew how to care for my baby better, I knew had to resume my schedules etc. Did I have help? The first time I didn’t. Like I said earlier, I was too paranoid to allow anyone near my baby, till the Holy spirit helped me understand things better. Although I had help around me, I just wasn’t allowing them. The second time, I had learnt to say yes! Having help is a blessing o. So enjoy the help if you have them.
