If you could learn one skill today, what would it be?
A few things to think about…
When the milk is splattered all over the floor, and those little eyes are looking at you for your reaction, remember what really matters. It takes 5 minutes to clean up spilled milk; it takes much longer to clean up a broken spirit.
If we want our kids to stop and think before reacting, then we need to show them how. That means we need to practice pausing, keeping ourselves regulated, and then responding—not just with them, but in all areas of life.
One question we want you to answer…
If you could learn one skill today, what would it be?
We are in the second quarter of the year and I know we all set goals that we would love to achieve before the year ends. Usually, that goal includes learning a skill. So, what is it? And have you learnt it or are you learning it?
I wanted to spend this year learning a lot on leadership. And I have began to soak in the wisdom of several teachers, courses and mentors. I also wanted to learn new recipes. Just because I and my husband love to have options, especially if they are healthy. I have started to pick a few things up from YouTube, but if you have some interesting recipes you wouldn’t mind sharing, I will be grateful.
So, what’s the skill you would want to learn?
