Creche Syndrome: what exposure to other kids can do to your baby and what to do.

If you are anything like me, you were probably terrified at the thought of you having to take your baby to creche, due to work schedules and career pursuit. When left with no choice, you probably even intentionally and meticulously chose one from several ones that you had to check out, based on clean and safe environment, the demeanour of the teachers/handlers and the population of the classroom. Okay! That is settled. Right?

Not Exactly!

Exposure to other environment outside of your home can test the immunity of children, especially as they start to relate with other kids in school who come from different homes where you have no control over what goes on with them. This is the reason you need to understand what creche syndrome is and what to do if you see symptoms of it in your children.

Mamas, it is not as serious as you think. And don’t worry about it, your babies will be fine. All that you are doing, even as you pursue your career, is for THEM.
